Dow Jones Looking To Buy Stake in Chinese Financial Site?

If the News Corp-DJ deal happen, this would have very interesting ramifications, but even without it, worth nothing: China Digital News reports that Dow Jones (NYSE: DJ) is in talks with local finance news and info portal about a deal to take a 10-20 percent stake. WSJ already runs a Chinese-language site with translations of its daily headlines while DJ distributes its newswire service to mainland clients.

Hexun is owned by SEEC Media out of Hong Kong, and the story says has very good political connections.
