— A day after Sirius and XM announced more plans on a la carte subscription, XM CEO and founder Hugh Panero is leaving. His eventual departure was widely anticipated following the announcement in February of the proposed merger, reports Variety. XM chairman Gary Parsons will continue to be part of a merged entity, but Sirius execs are expected to preside over management and leadership.
