Jenn pulls out all the stops in her FlipStart review; you can tell she really put this machine through the blender paces. From comparison pictures of the FlipStart next to other ‘pocketables’ to Jenn’s usage of the 1024×600 screen on both a FlipStart and Sony UX, this is one of the best reviews I’ve read in some time. The real question asked here isn’t whether the FlipStart is a well-engineered device, it’s if the device is current in terms of price, specs and usability with other available devices on the market. I won’t spoil Jenn’s conclusion but I do think she asks (and answers) a great question. Personally, I think that if this device was release one to two years earlier, it could have garnered a much stronger following.
