Israeli operator Cellcom has finished its ad-sponsored game trial: “The service showed results of 44 percent Click-Through-Rate and 19 percent Acquisition Rate for Mobile Advertising Campaigns”, reports Games On Deck. The service involved targeted ads and included coupons and other incentives to click on the ads, which is a big part of their success. However it’s not clear how many people trialled the service…a spokesperson for Cellcom said that thousands of non-gamers had been attracted to the service.
