Earnings: Mobile Streams May Struggle To Reach 2007 Forecasted Numbers

In keeping in line with the tough environment for mobile content tech players and aggregators overall, UK-based Mobile Streams has released an updated guidance following its first half 2007 earnings numbers: it said its full-year results may struggle to live up to expectations, as it announced a 25 percent rise in first-half turnover. The company said the markets “remain very challenging”, making it “difficult” to make accurate forecasts for future growth. For the first six months of 2007, the group’s revenues grew by 25 percent year on year, with EBITDA “showing an improvement” compared with the prior year’s 0.3 million GBP loss.

Meanwhile, it also relaunched its D2C site Ringtones.com with new features and functions.
