Industry Moves: Glu Mobile Promotes Two; Macrospace Founder Leaves

Glu Mobile, the mobile gaming firm, has promoted two of its execs, as the head of its European arm is leaving. Jill Braff, who formerly held the position of SVP of worldwide marketing, has been named SVP of global publishing and now oversees the company’s licensing, marketing and sales efforts worldwide. Alex Galvagni, the company’s CTO, has added the title of SVP of global development, responsible for product development, technology services, porting and deployment.

At the same time, Kristian Segerstrale will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Segerstrale was a founder of Macrospace, the London-based studio acquired by Glu in 2004, and was the managing director of EMEA at Glu.

The company has also recently opened development studio in Beijing and offices in Italy and Spain. More details here.
