Monstermob In Legal Dispute Over Its Buyout Of Philippines Company

This is the second such case for UK mobile content firm Monstermob: first news last month that two of its Chinese subsidiaries, M Dream and W Infinity have stopped providing it with any further financial or operational information. Now news that it is in a legal dispute with Philippines company Dragon Impact Assets over its GBP 20 million acquisition of UpperMobile and its unit Information Gateway Inc agreed in 2005. The dispute centers on the level of pretax profits for the two years to March this year, which is the basis for an agreed contingent payment for the acquisition. More about the drama here.
