Mirics Semiconductors, a UK-based mobile TV chips firm, has received $10 million in its second round of financing from Intel Capital. Founded in 2004, Mirics claims to have developed a small, power-sipping chip that cuts through the tangle of standards in the mobile content broadcast market. It received a first round from Pond Ventures last year.
