British internet ad broker AdJug is launching with “several million dollars” in funding from Balderton Capital, VentureBeat reports. Seb Bishop, who founded online paid placement company Espotting, also joined Balderton as a participant in the financing. While it is starting in the UK for now, the company has ambitions to create and manage a European-wide online ad marketplace. So far, though, the company has eight slots representing sites such as global webcams directory Camvista.com. Marketers can bid for the ad space on these sites in a five-step process.
