Merger and acquisition deals in India for the first five months of 2007 hit the $46.8 billion mark compared with $20.3 billion for the whole of 2006, Dun & Bradstreet’s India Chief Executive Manoj Vaish said. [via Economic Times] Telecom, pharma, healthcare, energy and IT were the primary contributors. Vaish didn’t offer any break up of deal values by sectors in the article.
