Virgin Mobile Founders Quit in UK

Virgin Mobile, one of the pioneering MVNOs part of Richard Branson’s group, has lost two executives instrumental in creating the service, reports Guardian. Virgin Mobile’s managing director Alan Gow, and deputy managing director Joe Steel, were two of the founders in 1999. Virgin Media’s marketing head James Kydd is now the only original Virgin Mobile executive still with the business.
The two are looking for “fresh challenges” after helping integrate the business following last year’s merger of Virgin Mobile with NTL to create Virgin Media.
