NYT: Yasmin Namini is moving up to SVP, marketing and circulation for the New York Times Media Group, from SVP, circulation, NYT. Her responsibilities are expanding to include marketing initiatives across print, Web and mobile platforms as well as circulation and distribution of the print version, the electronic edition and TimesReader. She will report to Scott

New Line Cinema: Former MTV Networks exec Caleb Weinstein has joined New Line as SVP of Business Development and Digital Strategy. At MTVN, Weinstein most recently served as SVP of Strategy and Business Development and oversaw all digital efforts for the the network’s Entertainment Group. His new duties include focusing on new business opportunities, film performance analysis and the ongoing development of New Line’s digital strategy. (Release)

Swarmcast: Swarmcast, the streaming technology player, has appointed Kelly Egan as its VP of business development…Prior to joining Swarmcast, Egan served as the director of entertainment strategy at Best Buy, where he headed new media distribution platforms, as well as mobile entertainment and digital content opportunities.
