I’ve been nicely critiqued (accurately, I might add) that I often overlook Palm OS devices, so consider this my first step of blog penance. It would help if I actually HAD a Palm OS device, but I won’t make excuses. ;) If I DID have a Palm OS device, I’d be hitting up the SlingPlayer Mobile Beta for Palm OS version 2 right about now. The new release is officially supported on the 700p and 755p 3G devices, but word on the street is that you can give it a go on your 650, 680 or even your T|X; slinging television over WiFi on the T|X ought to work very well actually. Don’t expect much over the slower connections on the 650 or 680, but if you do use one of the older Palm devices, you might want to try the audio only or even the slide show feature.
Sling has reworked this version since the first release in March and there are a number of stability items and fixes in this version so hop over and hit the download.
