China Funding Roundup: ChinaCache; Love21cn; Captiv8

A host of funding news today, along with these three for Chinese companies…

— Content delivery network ChinaCache has closed a $31.5 billion second funding round from local, U.S. and European investors. Qiming Venture Partners led the round. Other participants included Qiming’s U.S. partner, Ignition Partners, as well as C.V. Starr International and Susquehanna International Group China. Previous investors, JAFCO Asia, Intel Capital and Stockholm-based Investor AB also joined the round. ChinaCache raised $8.5 million in the fall of 2005. Red Herring

— Online dating site Love21cn has closed a $10 million first round led by Ignition Partners and its Chinese partner Qiming Ventures Partners. Last month, Love21cn received another investment of “several million” Yuan from three co-founders of educational services company New Oriental. China Web 2.0 Review

— In-game advertising company Captiv8 has secured an unspecified amount of first round funding led by Qiming Venture. The company was started by former ESPN China ad executives in 2004. China Web 2.0 Review
