The Walt Disney Internet Group is releasing a 13 episode Donand Duck series for the mobile called “Donald Duck – Lost in time” starting June 9. The company has also launched a “Donald Zone” across operators: on Reliance Mobile World, Airtel Live, Planet Hutch, as well as on a wap site (http://wap.disney.in). The site will feature mobile content related to Donald Duck, including wallpapers, animations, ringtones (dialogues), games and trivia. [via release]
At their site, Disney has a section for the mobile. I remember Rajiv Hiranandani of Mobile2Win telling me earlier that they’ve seen a fair number 10-12 year olds sign up for the Turner content, so I guess there is a market for such content. Not that only kids like it, though.
