@ D: Chad Hurley And Steve Chen

The YouTube twosome on stage:
YouTube service on AppleTV: Hurley: They reached out to us and see what we could do together. We want to bring video to every screen we can.
Professional vs amateur video: Majority of the videos on our sites are spontaneous events and short clips.
Deal with EMI: This is the fourth and final major music label we have signed on, with videos etc…and then be able to identify legal and illegal videos.
Lawsuits against YouTube: We want to do partnerships.
Advertising on YouTube: We’re testing a lot of options right now…we don’t think forcing people to watch and ad is a good experience. I don’t think we would ever do 30 second pre-rolls…it could be between 5-15 second. What has worked for us is the main video ad on the homepage, and surprisingly number of people watch it.
I have given up on writing this…Steve and Chad have been so coached by Google PR people that they have learned that the art of not answering anything, and indulging in pure blandities. AllThingsD has more detailed coverage if you want to endure through it.
