Women’s Mobile Content Provider LimeLife Gets $3.9 Million Financing

LimeLife, which specializes in mobile content targeted at women, has received $3.9 million in funding from Core Capital Partners, RCR Wireless News reports. The Menlo Park start-up recently partnered with AT&T on Rachael Ray Recipes on the Run, which features 30-minute recipes from the celebrity cook. LimeLife also has a mobile content distribution deal with Time. Inc’s In Style magazine. In addition to the funding news, Tom Wheeler, managing director at Core Capital Partners and a former president of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) as well as former president of the National Cable Television Association (NCTA), is joining LimeLife’s board of directors.
