Another web app acquisition by Google: it has bought spyware prevention provider GreenBorder Technologies, according to Google Operating System blog. (via Cnet News.com.) No terms were disclosed. GreenBoard’s applications allow users to search and access various websites, leaving viruses behind when they exit. Until recently, the company charged $29.95 for the application; no word on whether Google will offer the technology for free.
