Over at Giveaway of the Day today is a nice-looking productivity application called FusionDesk. FusionDesk is currently available in a free Starter Edition and a $90 Professional Edition. The GotD edition is a not-yet-available Deluxe Edition that sits between the two current products and the deal is: if you download and activate the software by midnight tonight, you won’t pay the $59 price tag; it’s free!
I watched the demo and the application appears to be a real productivity booster: you can use it for personal time tracking and project management. Additionally, there’s a Getting Things Done, or GTD approach integrated from what I’ve read. Even if you don’t work on or manage projects, the GTD functions alone could be worth the free download. One of the features that’s not included unless you buy the most expensive version is synchronization with smartphones and Pocket PCs, which is a shame, but hey, how can you complain about free? FusionDesk is supported on Windows 98 and up.
