MNI, a media and telecom group from Poland, has bought 100 percent of Polish mobile game developer Breakpoint, completing what it started earlier this year. The price of the acquisition isn’t given, but MNI paid 1.2 million euros (US$1.61 million) for 57 percent of the company at the end of last year. “In line with its plans to expand in Europe, MNI Premium’s acquisition of Breakpoint and MoCoHub (a Polish content aggregator taken over in April) are to strengthen its position in the mobile content sector, according to representatives,” reports Games On Deck. MNI plans to expand distribution of Breakpoint games.
