Guruji.com Launches Tamil Search, Plans Mobile Searches Too

Search engine Guruji.com will now allow searches in Tamil on its Web site and has plans to add Malayalam to its roster of Hindi, Telegu and Kannada searches, the Hindu reports. Sequoia Capital-funded Guruji.com’s co-founder Anurag Dod further claims the site has logged more than 10 million hits for native language searches. Guruji’s plans for this fiscal include adding services, such as maps, music, and video. The search engine also plans to offer search results on the mobile platform.
