This Week and Next: In NYC-Argyle and Carlsbad-D

Will be a heavy travel week for me: I am traveling to NYC tomorrow for the Argyle Executive Forum on Wednesday. The conference, Market Trends in Media, has a good speakers lineup, and I am moderating the first panel of the day with panelists: Chris Ahearn, President, Media, Reuters; Josh Berman, Founder and COO, MySpace; Neal Goldman, Partner, Goode Partners; Andrew Heyward, Senior Advisor, Marketspace LLC/Monitor Group; Lincoln Millstein, Sr. VP, Digital Media, Hearst Newspapers. Also keynoting: Phil Kent, CEO of Turner Broadcasting Systems. Staci and David will hold the fort for most part this week.

Then spending the Memorial Day weekend there, will be back in time to go to Carlsbad for the big D conference organized by WSJ, where speakers include the usual litany of tech heavyweights. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are supposed to be on a panel together, so I hear, and even rumored that they’ll do the I’m-A-PC-I’m-A-Mac bit…well, I’m starting that rumor. My second D in a row, so now I know what to expect, and will not be so lost like the last time. Also, if anyone’s driving from LA to Carlsbad, let me know (rali AT paidcontent.org)…I could use a ride.
