Carry and use Mac System 7 on a USB stick

We’ve already seen that you can run Windows apps on a USB drive and heard rumors of Windows XPe on a stick as well, but Mac OS? Sure you can if you don’t mind using your personal wayback machine for Mac System 7. Sorry no Tiger, Panther or any other kitty names will cut it for this project, but you can boot into the OS from Windows or Linux. There’s a nice writeup of the procedure over at nothickmanuals along with those great System 7 dialog boxes to show the kids what an older OS used to look like. They’ll probably pick up on it quickly thanks to the early ’90s blocky font. ;)
