Multimedia Storage Provider Fabrik Gets $24.9 Million; Levinsohn On Board

Online content storage company Fabrik has secured $24.9 million in a fourth round. The financing was headed by 3i, which was joined by previous backer ComVenture. The funds are earmarked to help the San Mateo, CA.-based company global expansion plans and develop new product categories related to methods of storing, managing, accessing and sharing digital media. Separately, Fabrik said that Ross Levinsohn, the former president of Fox Interactive Media, has joined its board of directors. Over the past year, Levinsohn has offered Fabrik informal advice and this position essentially codifies that role. Release
