Verizon Halves Agencies To Create Uniformity

Verizon has culled the number of agencies it uses in a bid to get a common look and feel across its line of businesses. The number of agencies the telco uses has been cut from more than 20 to 10, with the action coming after John Stratton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Verizon, was made responsible for the marketing and brand initiatives of all the Verizon business groups in January.
