Seattle-based Jott Networks has announced it has raised $5.4 million in its first round of funding. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with Draper Richards, Ackerley Partners and Atomico Investments also participating. Jott offers a free speech-to-text service that lets users dial a toll-free number and leave a 15-second voice message that is transcribed and delivered to a computer or mobile phone via e-mail or SMS, reports RCRNews.
