Google continues to be bullish on India – and plans to expand its operations in the country. The company has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to purchase land in Hyderabad for setting up a new facility. (via release)
IANS (via ZDNet India) adds that the government will be allotting 20 acres of land in Kokapet village to Google India. The MOU was signed in Santa Clara, by Shailendra Kumar Joshi, secretary to the government, IT & Communications Department, and Roy Gilbert, director online sales and operations, Google.
