Italian mobile and online social network site Dada (MTAX STAR: DA.MI) has reported its first quarter earnings for the three months ending March 31. Revenues increased by 56 percent year-on-year to 35.4 million euro (US$47.93 million) while EBITDA increased 38 percent to 4.7 million euros (US$6.36 million) and net profit increased 83 percent to 3.1 million euros (US$4.20 million). Pellegrini, CEO of Dada USA, said that the company is getting around 20,000 new paying subscribers per day, and works with 79 carriers in 16 countries. Dada received 47 percent of its revenues from international activites compared to 31 percent for the same quarter in 2006 — the USA, Spain and Latin America where the highest growth areas in terms of new users and business volume. Dada predicts consolidated sales of $190-200 million for 2007.
