Vator.tv, an online video site which helps startup pitch themselves to VCs and other investors, has received its first round of funding…the site was started by former MarketWatch reporter Bambi Francisco, who left last month amidst a sea of controversy surrounding her journalistic credibility.
The funding round included Richard Rosenblatt, former CEO of Intermix and present CEO of Demand Media, Georges Harick, a former Google engineer who helped develop Adsense, and Matthew Hill, early investor of Shopping.com and, previous angel investor Peter Thiel, former CEO of PayPal. The amount was not disclosed.
