Actually, I’m hard pressed to call the TopExec a Tablet in the official ‘Microsoft Tablet’ sense of the word, but it is an 8.4-inch touchscreen slate design from Above-Net. The company plans to release the device in July and is targeting traveling executives. The SVGA computer will be powered by the same 1 GHz Via C7-M CPU that I benchmarked for battery life just yesterday in the Samsung Q1B. Additional features include:
- 256-, 512- or 1 GB of RAM (potential owners: more is better)
- 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and Infrared
- 40-, 60- or 120 GB hard drive capacity in the 2.5-inch form factor
- Optional 1.3 Megapixel camera
- Resistive touchscreen
