Anurag Gupta, formerly the Executive VP and Director at Connecturf, has joined Internet marketing company DGM India as Managing Director, reports Exchange4media. DGM India is the wholly owned subsidiary of UK based Deal Group Media. Before joining Connecturf, Gupta was Head of subscription business at Indiatimes. Alongwith Gupta, LD Sharma, former AVP (Search & International Business) at Mediaturf has also joined DGM India as Director – Search & Affiliate.
We had received a tip-off in the comments of one post about Gupta and Sharma moving from Connecturf, and both had confirmed their move. Sharma had mentioned then that they’re quite keen on the affiliate marketing business, which he feels is rather underdeveloped in India. Gupta had informed us that his next stint would be a little more entrepreneurial, with higher growth curves.
