Krishcricket, the cricket-centered gaming and animation company promoted by former cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth, with his son Adithyaa Srikkanth at the helm, has tied up with Motorola for embedding its Pro Challenge game in Motorola’s MotoRokr phones, reports Agencyfaqs. The company is apparently also in talks with other manufacturers. I just checked, and the game is a 174kb download, priced at Rs. 150, and there isn’t a Motorola phone among it’s list of supported handsets – only Sony Ericsson and Nokia.
The company has planned to, well, diversify: they’re going to develop non-cricketing games for the Internet and mobile. So has the popularity of cricket games declined?
