Industry Moves: AT&T-Goldfine; Universal Studios-Kornlau; G4-Krane; AddictingGames SVP

– AT&T has appointed Michael Goldfine as head of development and production. Goldfine will manage content acquisition and development across its IPTV, online and mobile services, and will report to Dan York, AT&T head of content and programming. Goldfine joins AT&T from Fine Tooth Media, a digital media production company, where he served as president. Prior to that he was VP of programming and production for NetworkLive.
— Universal Studios Home Entertainment head Craig Kornblau is adding digital distribution to his duties at the studio..he will take on the additional title of president, Universal Pictures Digital Platforms and will oversee online sales and rentals, as well as VOD, internal videogame projects and mobile platforms. THR: In a related development, Universal EVP Michael Joe, who had been overseeing digital activities, has been given operational oversight of the studio’s international-based local-language film production activities as well as worldwide acquisitions. Joe will continue to run business development and serve as the company’s chief strategy officer, defining Universal’s windowing policies, global strategies and long-term growth plans. He will continue to represent Universal Pictures on anti-piracy and public policy matters.

— Male-oriented cable channel G4 has promoted Josh Krane to SVP of its interactive and new-media division…Krane will head G4’s interactive and new-media strategy, including its multiplatform content offering known as G4 Multiplex, which expands the channel’s programming to broadband, podcasting, VOD, mobile and the video game platform.
