That’s the advice of Tablet MVP, Craig Pringle, who’s attending CeBIT Australia. (That reminds me James: what’s in our travel budget?!?) Craig got to fondle the Motion LE1700wt and points out that you need a few minutes with the WriteTouch option to really appreciate it.
The WriteTouch feature provides a best of both worlds solution: double-tap the capacitive display with a finger to enable touch, bring your pen in range of the screen surface for inking with the active digitizer. This removes the need for a true hardware button to enable or disable the touchscreen functionality. Craig explains it much better than I can as he’s had his fingers all over the LE1700. Don’t worry Motion folks, he assures us he washed his hands first. ;)
