Earnings: Rogers Wireless Revenue Up 22.5 Percent Year-On-Year

Rogers Communications (TSX:RCI.B) has reported its first quarter earnings for the three months ending March 31, reporting a year-on-year increase in revenue of 16 percent to CA$2.3 billion (US$2.07 billion)…Rogers Wireless put in US$1.2 billion (US$1.98 billion) of that, an increase of 22.5 percent from the first quarter of 2006, reports Canada.com. Net income was boosted to CA$170 million (US$152.8 million), up from CA$13 million a year ago.
