It’s showtime. Tonight our conference activities start, with the evening reception at the CAA building (only for EconSM attendees). We won’t be answering too many e-mails tomorrow or the day after, so if it not urgent, you might want to hold it until next week. If you’re trying to gain access to EconSM, we’re beyond full so save it for the next one.
We’ll be blogging the conference live, of course — Nikhil Pahwa from our India site ContentSutra.com and our NYC correspondent David Kaplan will both be on hand — as will many other press/bloggers. We’ve started the photo stream on Flickr, and the tag is, what else, “econsm”. So please tag your posts and pictures with that. Scribe Media.org will be filming the sessions for us; we’ll post MP3s and video of the sessions as soon after the conference as possible.
Our social net Connect@EconSM powered by People Aggregator has been very active, especially the appointment-making feature. (If you are registered to attend EconSM and are among the few who haven’t signed in yet, enter your email address and select “forgot password” to get login instructions.) We’re sorry Marc Canter has been held up in London and won’t be on hand to see the results.
The final stage-setters/speakers list is below. We had some very-last-minute changes, which we’re bummed about but they had valid reasons so we’ll forgive them this one time: Toby Coppel, Ross Levinsohn and Tim Westergren. We’ve added Mike Lang, EVP, Business Development and Strategy, Fox Networks, and Cyriac Roeding, EVP, CBS Mobile, to the deals and mobile panel respectively.
