SMS search company 4INFO has announced it well sell advertising in the SMS reponses it sends to users queries. The 4INFO Advertising Marketplace will sell ad-space that is “highly targeted” and timely — basically returning relevant results to consumers when they request it. It will also be rolled out across 4INFO partners including USA Today, Spark Networks and TV Guide. This was expected, really, considering that 4INFO’s primary service is provided free of charge and the company has to make money somehow. (release)
