This one kind of flew under the radar, probably because it doesn’t look like much. OK, couple that with the fact that I’ve never heard of Haier (isn’t that a brand of ice cream?) and I admit I missed it. The Haier X6 looks like the Medion RIM but it’s deceptive as it hides a Core 2 Duo processor inside according to engadget. How it can handle that heat is beyond me, especially when you throw in multiple radios and a GPS unit. The price of $1,165 tells me that someone is pulling our leg because there’s no way you can make one of these with a Core 2 Duo processor for that low price. One can dream, though.
