Finnish online community company Sulake Labs, which runs the Habbo Hotel online roleplaying/gaming service, has bought Finnish social network Dynamoid of IRC-Galleria fame. The site will be rebranded by Sulake before being relaunched as an international offering. The new service would target an older audience than Habbo Hotel, which has a core audience of 12- to 17-year-olds.
The service is used by 850K Finns every week and also serves Russian and German audiences, reports Guardian. More details in release.
