Going To LA For EconSM; Back May 5th

I’m leaving tonight for the US to attend our sold out conference on the “Economics of Social Media” in LA. Haven’t had much time before or after our ContentSutra Meetup, so it’s a rather hurriedly planned trip. By the end of it, hope to get greater perspective on how social media is going to evolve, and its implications for India. The session I’m looking forward to most at EconSM is on “Social Media Meets Music”: I think the monetization and mode of consumption of digital music – take online radio’s case – is going to set the precedence for all forms of digital content.
I’ll be incommunicado till the afternoon of the 25th India time. In case of any urgent editorial issue, please contact our Editor and Publisher Rafat Ali at rali AT paidcontent DOT org. From the 25th onwards, you may mail me at nikhil AT contentsutra DOT com, though there might be a delay in responding since I’ll be in a different time zone. Back in Delhi on the 5th, after a few days each visiting friends and family in NY and Boston.
