–FirstWord, a daily digest for the pharmaceutical industry, has launched a mobile edition identical to its PC version that lets subscribers select specific drugs, world markets and international companies to follow on a daily basis. “Executives who want in-depth coverage can choose between FirstWord PLUS, with an annual subscription fee of $795, and FirstWord Executive PLUS, which is $1,495. Both of these are custom services, allowing the user to access stories and medical literature for up to 25 products and an equal number of companies, countries or regions of their choice”. (release)

–Virtual Reach has teamed with Dashboard Communication to launch Dashboard Mobile, which delivers real-time access to investment industry research reports, via BlackBerrys. It offers industry research, analysis, headlines and market news, so they can “stay in touch with research, trade recommendations, market events and emerging trends”. (release)

–BET Networks has launched the 106 & Park Mobile Fan Club for its music show. It offers subscribers a mobile magazine, VIP access to BET events and select artist appearances. Also the theme song as a free ringtone, candid photos of guests, gossip, previews and so on. (release)

–Flycell has launched a new mobile content subscription site, Flycell.com. The site includes exclusive and original on-demand video programming (it develops mobile content) as well as MP3-quality ringtones and applications. It has a deal with Universal Music Group. (release)
