Germany’s tween and teen TV broadcaster Super RTL is gearing up to launch a kid-centric mobile phone service in June, according to this report in Horizont.net, a German language media news website. The service, called Toggo Mobile, will be charged at a monthly fee of 10 euros ($13.60). A mix of games, educational content and short clips will be charged extra. The mobile content and download service will be managed by Moconta and Arvato Mobile, the digital content arm belonging to Bertelsmann. A feature of the service will allow parents to track their children via GPS, if the handset supports it.
