Broadband
— Internet Subscribers base reached 8.582 million, up 6 percent from 8.096 million during the preceding quarter.
— Broadband subscriber base reached 2.054 million, up 13.04% over the previous quarter. Please note that broadband continues to be defined by the TRAI as connections with speed >256kbps.
— BSNL has 44 percent marketshare with 44.60 percent, followed by MTNL with 19.40 percent.
— ARPU for dial up Internet subscribers was Rs.205/- for the quarter ending Dec
