AT&T India will launch ISP services in India for the corporate sector by 2007-end, reports PTI (source: HT). The company intends to set up two new nodes by the end of 2007, and also double the capacity of its existing nodes in Bangalore and Mumbai. AT&T has plans to invest $750 million globally in 2007, though they’re not disclosing how much will be invested in India. Reuters adds that the company expects to see annual revenue grow by 40 percent a year for the next two years.
AT&T has a 74 percent stake in a JV with the Mahindras, and had received NLD and ILD licences in November last year.
