Eidos Interactive has bought UK-based games developer Morpheme for an undisclosed sum as part of its push into new media. In February Eidos bought another UK games deveoper Rockpool for 7.7 million pounds. Morpheme has been a long-time partner of Eidos notes Mobile Entertainment, which adds that the deal brings stability and funds to Morpheme which became self-owned when previous owner Argonaut went defunct in 2004.
Eidos Interactive has also acquired Bluefish Media, an online distributor of entertainment software, for an undisclosed sum, notes Gamasutra.
