Another Launch Today: AllThingsD, From WSJ

AllThingsDClarification: The site isn’t launching today. We’ll update you more when we know more.
Portfolio isn’t the only thing launching Monday…a slightly-less high profile launch for AllThingsD, a new spin-off site from Wall Street Journal which we wrote about in December last year.
Only the homepage is up for now (Update: was taken down soon has a placeholder page), so we’ll have more later as the site fully launches. They have hired away at least one prominent journalist, besides Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg being involved: former GMSV columnist John Paczkowski.
In some senses, it is among the first serious forays into areas we cover as well, though it is more broad and less-trade than our sites. Others who launched sites recently in similar areas are ContentAgenda (from ReedBusiness) and TotalContent+Media (from UK company Terrapinn).
