HTC is really taking strides to shine a spotlight on the company. For years, they’ve made great Windows Mobile devices that were re-branded but recently they stepped out with their own brand name. Now, DigiTimes reports that HTC has a subsidiary that started production of 3.5G wireless data cards for notebooks. BandRich is the division and one of the cards is the C100, which will be capable of 7.2 Mbps downloads with the right service. Based on the DigiTimes photo shown, it looks like the $269 C100 is an ExpressCard form factor; good for Mac owners since the slot is slow to appear on Windows machines. Some web sleuthing indicates that the card also supports USB; perhaps the bottom two do? The product site indicates that the white cover is part of a USB adaptor.
