Time Out Delhi, launched by Paprika Media in association with Time Out International, has recently hit the stands, priced at Rs.30. I’d noticed a banner for Time Out Delhi at IMC 2006 in November last year. Indiantelevision.com reports that they’ve also launched a Delhi specific website; they already have one for Mumbai.
Time Out’s taken the online subscription route – while some (minimal) content can be previewed, access to most of the content on the site is at a subscription price of Rs. 425 per year. Comparatively, the print subscription for the fortnightly costs Rs. 585 for one year. Apparently, there’s separate subscription for Delhi and Mumbai content. There doesn’t seem to be much advertising on either the Mumbai or the Delhi site, apart from Time Out banners.
