Rogers Wireless in Canada has signed a deal with satellite radio broadcaster XM to broadcast up to 25 channels of XM commercial-free music programming, as well as comedy, sports, entertainment and talk, reports M&C. The content will also be available on Rogers’ cable and internet products. XM sees the deal as a good way to extend the reach of satellite radio, except it’s not really satellite radio if it’s sent through other delivery mechanisms.
