Rogers Wireless, the biggest mobile operator in Canada with 6.8 million customers, has announced it is the first to offer video calling in North America, reports Reuters. The launch of the telco’s new HSDPA network has been accompanied by announcements of the services that will be available, which is a far better thing to focus on than data transfer rate. Aside from video calling Rogers has announced it will offer the top 50 videos from YouTube every week, as well as easier access to the Rogers Music Store, video-on-demand services from ET Canada, CSI and CNN; Mobile television to access your favourite TV and video programs; and radio-on-demand, featuring live XM Satellite radio.
